Holy Names High School recently completed an accreditation process through the Western Catholic Educational Association (WASC), Per WCEA, they provide "a process for determining the quality of a school's overall Catholic identity and educational program."  The exhaustive self study and peer review verified that Holy Names High School has maintained its status as one of the top Bay Area Catholic high schools, once again receiving a six year accreditation, the longest possible under WCEA guidelines.

Based on the school's self-evaluation and a successful accreditation visit from administrators and faculty from area schools. The detailed, research-based findings in the self study focused every aspect of the student experience. While always acknowledging that there is room to grow, Holy Names was proud to find strong alignment among high academic standards, a close-knit, nurturing community, strong Catholic values, and an overall commitment to our Mission.  Principal Miles Greene and President Constance Hubbard credited the achievement to the collective effort of faculty, staff, students, and families.


Accreditation offers several assurances, including validating the integrity of the school's programs and providing insight from visiting educators.  Holy Names High School is now accredited through 2032, with a mid-cycle visit scheduled for the 2028-2029 school year.

We are thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our Class of 2026, who have collectively earned over 200 college acceptances across the country. With just 33 graduating seniors, this extraordinary milestone is a testament to the talent, hard work, and determination of this exceptional group.

From highly selective research universities to outstanding liberal arts colleges and specialized programs, this class has opened doors to institutions that span the full breadth of American higher education. Their success is the result of years of academic excellence, meaningful extracurricular engagement, and the courage to pursue their individual passions. We are incredibly proud of each member of the Class of 2026. Their journey has just begun, and we cannot wait to see the impact they will make in college and beyond.

Calling all creative middle schoolers! Holy Names High School is hosting a free, hands-on art workshop for students in grades 6–8 on Tuesday, April 21, from 4:30–6:30 PM.

In this interactive afternoon session, participants will learn basic embroidery techniques, create their own unique sampler piece, and connect with fellow creative students — all while getting a firsthand look at Holy Names' vibrant arts program. The workshop is led by Holy Names faculty and student ambassadors in a welcoming, supportive environment. No prior experience is necessary.

We have completely reimagined and expanded the Strawberry Festival this year! Now all activities are a la carte. Guests can purchase Early Bird Entry to enter between 11am-noon and enjoy first access to shopping the NEW Monarch Market, featuring local professional craft vendors, Live Music with Wolftown Jazz (featuring faculty member, Mr. Brunetti), easy parking, free Caricature Artists, Face Painting, a Student Life Showcase, and made to order street tacos. This past week, we were grateful to welcome the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA) to our campus. Through the accreditation process, the Holy Names community presented a self study that was used by WCEA representatives in evaluating the school throughout their visit.

Over the course of their time on campus, they met with teachers, students, parents, and staff and experienced firsthand the spirit of our Holy Names community. I am pleased to share that their impression was overwhelmingly positive. Thank you to everyone who participated in interviews, conversations, prepared materials, and supported the process (a process that was almost 2 years in the making!). Your care, professionalism, and love for this school were evident throughout the visit. President Hubbard shared that in her career, this is the best WCEA / WASC visit she has ever experienced!
