Your path to Holy Names Starts Here

The Admissions process begins with several ways to experience the vibrant campus life at Holy Names.

 

Shadow Visits

Shadow visits are the best way for students to see themselves as part of the Holy Names community.  Each visiting student is paired with a Holy Names Ambassador and joins that student for a half day of classes on campus.  In addition to experiencing the classroom environment, shadow visits offer the opportunity for each student to engage with our diverse, welcoming student body in order to get a true sense of the full high school experience.

 

During shadow visits, parents are invited to stay for a student-led campus tour followed by a Q&A session with our Admissions and Administrative team. Shadow visits are scheduled on Mondays, by appointment only.

Campus Tours

Private campus tours area available upon request and can be scheduled with our Admissions Department.  Please contact [email protected] to request a private campus tour.

 

Open House - November 5, 2023, 10am - 12:30pm

Discover the campus, meet students & teachers, and experience Holy Names High School’s radical hospitality.  Open House is the most comprehensive snapshot of everything that Holy Names has to offer.  Our Open House is designed to give you the information you need while you experience Holy Names' radical hospitality.

  • Tour the historic campus and experience the warmth of community that can only be experienced on campus.

  • Learn about our college-prep curriculum & the vast array of teams, clubs and extra curricular programs at information booths around campus.

  • Meet the diverse group of Holy Names faculty, staff & coaches who create the welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that provides our students with an environment to thrive.

  • Speak with current parents & students to get an unfiltered look at life at Holy Names. 

STEM Day - October 17, 2023

Our single-gender environment and focus on providing a foundation in STEM curriculum in a positive environment means many of our graduates go into STEM careers. Middle school students are invited to join our dynamic STEM teachers, along with our Student Ambassadors and Robotics team, for an afternoon where you may build a circuit, fire a rocket, or create your own electrified vehicle.

Monarch Day - February 27, 2024

Applicants who submit their applications by the January 4th deadline can look forward to Monarch Day, an afternoon for all of our applicants to meet future classmates and experience fun outside of the classroom with Holy Names students.  Monarch Day is our first chance to welcome the next class of young women leaders!

 

Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors are the highlight of the Holy Names Admissions Department. These exceptional students provide a true behind-the-scenes look at student life at Holy Names. Often beginning when paired on a shadow visit, Student Ambassadors are always available for questions and support. Our Ambassadors are the leaders of our diverse student body.
