During the one week period between semesters, students have the opportunity to select from a wide range of on-campus classes, service opportunities, off-campus educational trips, or internships in businesses, professional offices, or community agencies.
Recent on-campus classes included art, animation and film making, creative writing, drivers education, guitar, piano, poetry, stained glass, vegetarian cooking and yoga.
Internship opportunities off-campus are designed to expose students to different careers or to provide them with service opportunities. Off-campus internships include architecture, dentistry, education, government, law, medicine, radio, recreational therapy, and television.
Off-campus trips may include museum tours, animal welfare experiences, skiing, backpacking and camping.
