The Holy Names High School English department guides students to develop skills in expository writing and literary analysis.
We seek to enable our students to enrich their lives with a variety of real choices for self-expression, to read, speak, and write their own language competently and effectively so that they may function as educated people in a society which values education. |
The Social Studies department focuses on a global perspective of the past and the present, with the goal that HNHS students will be active and responsible citizens of our nation, able to effectively communicate in both writing and speaking, and empathize with a diversity of perspectives. |
