Holy Names High School is offering a four week summer enrichment camp for middle schoolers in the areas of STEAM and Athletics. From June 19th to July 14th, middle schoolers will have the opportunity for active, hands-on learning in various disciplines taught by energetic Holy Names High School instructors and student interns.
8:30am to 10:15am: STEM (Techbridge)
The Techbridge curriculum is designed to interest kids in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math), promote inquiry, and highlight real-world applications. This four week program will emphasize hands-on learning and support group knowledge building.
10:30am to 12:15pm: Visual & Performing Arts
For new and practicing artists! Each week holds a particular artistic emphasis. Students will explore photography, printmaking, music, and performance art! Emphasis on building artistic skills and exposure to high quality materials is at the core of each class. Each series of classes culminates in a student art show or performance. Students will express themselves creatively while learning techniques
12:45pm to 3:15pm: Team Sports & Conditioning
HNHS coaches and current student athletes will lead a pair of fun and engaging sports clinics! Two weeks will focus on volleyball and two will feature basketball. The clinics will focus on the development of fundamental skills and team building. We will apply those lessons in a competitive setting with skill-based games and full team scrimmages.
Registration Fee: $760 Total (includes lunch)*
*Parents may send their child with lunch from home. The total cost of the program will not change.
