Grants for Capital Campaigns
A number of local foundations have made generous grants to HNHS over the years for projects including the renovation of our library, chemistry and biology labs, and the establishing of smart classrooms to name a few.   The Director of Development prepares grant proposals on an on-going basis.   If you know of or are associated with a foundation that could fund a project at HNHS, please contact Kathryn Moir at 510 450-1110 ext 118 or kmoir@hnhsoakland.org

Projects we are looking to fund include the renovation or our physics lab, and upgrading the lighting and sound for our theater/auditorium.   We also want to build an elevator on the school side of our campus.
Financial Aid
The Holy Names High School scholarship program promotes access to excellent Catholic education for young women in the Bay Area. Each year more than a third of Holy Names students receive some financial assistance. With the support of alumnae, parents and friends the school has been able to offer help to many deserving young women. Donors may make gifts to the annual campaign that provides financial aid. In addition there are memorial or named funds and endowed funds. Call the development office at 450-1110, extension 118, for more information on ways that you can help.
