Alumna Recognition Award is given to an alumna in recognition of outstanding service to the Alumnae Association.   In 2007, this award was given to Marie Turner Bossert '61. As a member of the Alumnae Association and subsequently as President from 2000-2004, she has worked tirelessly to support the school, traveling all the way from the Sacramento area to lead and participate in board meetings. Citation for Service is awarded to an alumna or friend of the school in recognition of outstanding service and loyalty to Holy Names High School. In 2007 this award was given to Agnes Vinson Anderson '42, at this homecoming which marked her 65th anniversary of graduation from HNHS. Agnes is not one to toot her own horn, but we delight in doing so because, together with her husband, her generosity has made dreams possible for many beyond their own family. Recently, Agnes created an endowed scholarship here which will allow young women to study at her alma mater.

Alumnae Association Service Award is conferred on a graduating senior who has been outstanding in her service to the school during her high school career.   The recipient is determined by the school administration, senior homeroom teachers, and the advice vote of the senior class.   In 2007, this award was given to Rachel Brylawski '07 recognizing her spirit of generosity to others. In the nominating forms for this award her classmates described Rachel with words like, "She's always around to help." "She doesn't hold a formal leadership role in the school, but she's a real leader." "She does so much service out in the community, such as serving on construction crews for Habitat for Humanity, volunteering at Oakland Fine Arts Summer School, Corpus Christi Elementary School, Peter Pan Nursery School, and Allendale Bilingual Kindergarten."
