  Religious Studies 9:
  Introduction to Catholic Christianity and
  Hebrew Scriptures
In religious studies courses students explore the themes and major characters revealed in the Hebrew and Christian scriptures, apply Christian values to moral issues and dilemmas, and analyze current examples of injustice in the light of the Gospels and Christian social principles. Many courses study the influence of Christian women's evolving spirituality and the related roles women have held in the history of the Church. Students also learn various forms of prayer and practice them in the role of prayer leader in classes and liturgical events in the school community.

  Religious Studies 12:
  Women’s Spirituality* and Social Justice*

Graduation requirement: four years of religious studies.

*Indicates course is certified as meeting the requirements for admission to the University of California and California State University systems.
