During the two-week period between semesters, students have the opportunity to select from a wide range of on-campus classes, service opportunities, off-campus educational trips, or internships in businesses, professional offices, or community agencies.
Recently on-campus classes included art, calligraphy, creative writing, drama, driver’s education, photography, voice, American Sign Language, SAT prep, multimedia production, stained glass, and introduction to law.
Internship opportunities off-campus are designed to expose students to different careers or to provide them with service opportunities. Off-campus internships include architecture, childcare, dentistry, education, government, law, medicine, radio, recreational therapy, and television.
Off-campus trips may include the East Coast College tour, Close-Up (Washington D.C.), Yosemite Institute, London Theater Program, and Outdoor education.
